Our History
For over 30 years on the front line of road safety
Crezza was founded in 1992 by the Guerini family, who, following the 1987 Valtellina flood, participated in the reclamation works of the valley floor by supplying precast elements for water management. The company is based in Valchiavenna, where the historic Gordona plant is still located today, but soon expanded its scope to become a leading company in concrete prefabrication at a national level.
Now led by the second entrepreneurial generation of the family, Crezza has surpassed 30 years of activity and is a trusted partner of the major companies and authorities for the construction of infrastructure works in Italy and worldwide, with a particular specialization in reinforced concrete road safety barriers and tunnel segments, which it has been producing and supplying since the beginning.

C.M.V. – Carpenteria Meccanica Valchiavenna was born from the merger of two companies active in different sectors—metal carpentry and public infrastructure—combining skills and activities to create a mechanical carpentry company dedicated to innovation, specialized in custom-made steel and metal works on demand, capable of meeting any requirement with extreme operational flexibility.
Betonvaltellina brings together concrete producers and cement partners and serves as a key reference in the province of Sondrio for the supply of high-quality cement and ready-mixed concrete. The company also operates facilities for the recovery of materials derived from construction and demolition activities, offering a comprehensive service that includes sales, material transportation, and equipment rental.

ABESCA, a leader in road safety
In 2002, Crezza, together with other major industry players, founded ABESCA, Association for Reinforced Concrete Safety Barriers, which – along with ABESCA EUROPE S.r.l., established in 2005 – pursues and promotes road safety through a program of investments and research.
ABESCA’s commitment has led to the improvement of passive safety standards for road users by developing increasingly advanced reinforced concrete safety barriers, which are now installed on over 10,000 km of roads in Italy and worldwide.
